1. What is a Prop Firm?

A Prop Firm, which is also called a Proprietary Trading Firm, is a company that provides traders with capital to trade in exchange for a share of the profits generated by their trades. These firms typically use a profit-sharing system where the trader receives a percentage of the profits they generate, and the firm takes a commission as well. This approach enables traders to access substantial amounts of capital without having to invest their own money.

2. What is a prop firm funded account?

A prop firm funded account is a trading account that is provided by a proprietary trading firm to a trader. This type of account is funded by the prop firm’s own capital, and the trader is given access to this capital to trade. The prop firm funded account is often used by traders who do not have sufficient funds to trade on their own or who want to access larger amounts of capital to increase their trading positions. In exchange for access to the firm’s capital, the trader agrees to share a percentage of the profits generated by their trades with the firm. Traders who are approved for a prop firm funded account typically need to go through a rigorous application process (evaluation) to demonstrate their trading skills and knowledge. They are also expected to follow the trading guidelines and risk management rules set by the prop firm.

3. What’s the passing timeframe? How long does it take to pass challenge and get funded?

We at The Prop Firm Traders understand the importance of time, which is why we are committed to helping you pass the evaluation phases as quickly and efficiently as possible. With a success rate of 97%, we guarantee that our team of experienced traders can help you pass both Phase I and Phase II of the evaluation process in less than 14 trading days. Our team will work diligently to analyze the market and place trades on your behalf, ensuring that you meet the profit target and risk management criteria set by the prop firm. We prioritize efficiency and quality in our services, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to help you pass the evaluation phase and get funded within the shortest possible timeframe.

4. What happens if you fail my challenge? Can I get a refund?

We take pride in our team’s commitment to using proper risk management and maintaining stable trading psychology, which makes violating trading parameters nearly impossible. However, in the worst-case scenario of a failure, we do have a Refund Policy in place that guarantees an immediate refund of both the service fee and the fee to purchase a new account from a prop firm. We do offer a few Free Repeats* in some cases where the Trading Period is almost over, and the account has a positive balance despite being submitted late with massive drawdown. In such cases, we first work to push the account back to a positive balance before focusing on hitting the profit target.

5. What is your risk management strategy?

Our trading history will show you that we consider proper risk management to be essential to our trading. We never risk more than 1% per trade and always aim for a minimum reward-to-risk ratio of 1:3. This means that we risk $500 to potentially make $1500. These practices help us maintain the trading parameters of both challenge and funded accounts.

6. What is your average ROI target for funded accounts, and what profit target do you aim for?

Our typical profit target for funded accounts is a minimum ROI of 10% to 15%. However, if the market presents more lucrative trading opportunities, we are always ready to pursue them and aim for higher returns. In fact, we once achieved a maximum ROI of 46%.

8. Am I allowed to take my own trades while you manage my challenge/trade my funded account?

No, you are not allowed to take any trades yourself while we manage your challenge or trade your funded account. It is strictly prohibited and a violation of our terms and conditions. Please note that no action is required on your part during this time.

9. What is your success rate?

At ThePropFirmTraders, we are tremendously proud to have helped over 1,100 traders become funded through our services. We pride ourselves on our high success rate and proven track record of helping traders pass evaluation challenges and manage their funded trading accounts successfully. Our success rate speaks for itself, with more than 95% of traders achieving funding. Our team is committed to providing top-notch services to all our clients. If you review our trading history, you will see that proper risk management is essential to our trading. We never risk more than 1% per trade and require a minimum reward-to-risk ratio of 1:3, meaning we risk $500 to potentially make $1500. These practices ensure we do not violate the trading parameters of either a challenge or funded account.

10. How do you guarantee that prop firm won’t find out that someone is trading on my behalf?

When it comes to trading with a prop firm, we understand that confidentiality and security are critical concerns for our clients. Our team will take all the necessary measures to ensure that your privacy is protected throughout the process. To guarantee that the prop firm won’t find out that someone is trading on your behalf, we use highly secure Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to mask our IP address. This makes it virtually impossible for the prop firm to trace the trading activity back to us. Additionally, our team of experienced traders has a deep understanding of the evaluation and funded account management process, which allows us to operate seamlessly without attracting any unwanted attention. Our primary objective is to help you pass the evaluation phase and manage your funded trading account without any issues. Therefore, we take every step necessary to ensure that your anonymity and confidentiality are maintained throughout the process. If you have any additional concerns or questions about our approach to protecting your privacy, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

11. What is your trading style? Do you use EAs or Manual trading?

Our trading style is based on a manual approach, which means that our experienced traders will analyze the market and make informed trading decisions based on their expertise and knowledge. This allows us to adapt to the ever-changing market conditions and make more informed trading decisions. We do not use any copy trading or Expert Advisors (EAs) because most prop firms prohibit their use. Instead, we rely on our team’s extensive experience in the forex and stock markets to execute profitable trades on your behalf. We believe that manual trading allows us to better understand the nuances of the market and make informed decisions based on our expertise. This approach also allows us to be more flexible in adapting to market changes, which is crucial for successful trading. Rest assured that our manual trading approach is backed by years of experience and a proven track record of success. Our team of traders is dedicated to helping you succeed in the prop firm evaluation process and beyond.
